Queen Elizabeth II is looking to hire a social media manager.

According to a report in the Independent, the job vacancy has been posted on the Royal Family's website, advertising the role of a digital communications officer.

The role of the officer will involve finding new ways to maintain the Queen's presence in the public eye and on the world stage. The person's job would also include researching and writing features, creating content, posting and managing the daily news and content on the social media channels.

A section from the job listing said that the job applicant was required to have a degree along with good photography and natural communication skills.

The job will have the person working out of the Buckingham Palace for a salary of approximately £30,000 (Dh140,139)-depending on the experience that the person brings to the role.

Moreover, the successful applicant will also receive a 15 per cent employer contribution pension scheme after six months of being on the job, along with a 33 day annual leave, bank holidays, free lunch and on the job training for their professional development.

He/she would be required to work 37.5 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.

Applications for the job will not be accepted after midnight on May 26, 2019.
