"We are honoured to be associated with a highly renowned company such as Orpic," said Amer al Fadhil, Managing Director of Competence HR. "This new partnership reinforces our commitment to be a provider of a diverse array of quality HR, recruitment and training related services across various industrial sectors." Commenting on how the newly forged alliance will give local talent a boost, Nofal al Saidi, General Manager, HR Services for Orpic, says "As a local company, we are always committed to supporting the economy. The first significant step in accomplishing this is by investing in the youth of our country and providing opportunities for them to learn, grow and develop their skills.
This is exactly what this deal with Competence HR is all about." He reiterated the importance of local expertise in this process "It is an added benefit for us that Competence HR is a local Omani company, which means they have first-hand knowledge of how to identify and maximise local potential." Competence HR's expertise will be invaluable in not only supporting Orpic's dedication towards Omani youth but also in attracting, assessing and hiring local talents. As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete an online application form.
All applications will be carefully reviewed and the shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend Assessment Centres set by Competence HR and undergo an array of assessments such as ability tests and personality profiling. Competence HR will analyse the results and submit their recommendations to Orpic for consideration; Orpic will then call selected candidates for job-specific interviews.
