Cairo –  Cairo For Investment and Real Estate Development announced that the Egyptian president has issued a presidential decree no. 545 of 2019 to approve the addition of seven new faculties to Badr University in Cairo (BUC).

The faculties include Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Faculty of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.

Previously, the company’s managing director Mohamed El Kalla revealed that total investments injected into Badr University have reached EGP 700 million, including EGP 300 million in 2019.

During the nine-month period ended 31 May, the EGX-listed firm reported a net profit of EGP 231.56 million, up from EGP 165.39 million in the prior-year period.
