For the fifth year running, Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, is underlining its commitment to its Omanisation programme with a major presence at JOBEX 2012.
JOBEX, the largest and most comprehensive career exhibition in Oman, runs from 23-25 April at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat. It attracts a wide range of job seekers in search of interesting employment opportunities and enables exhibitors to showcase their companies and job opportunities.
Oman Air's management has a deep-rooted commitment to providing as many career opportunities as possible for qualified Omani candidates.
This year, Oman Air will be targeting job seekers with general diplomas, with a view to training them for service-level positions both on the ground at the airport and in the air, on-board its award-winning aircraft. The airline will be meeting potential job seekers, screening applicants and shortlisting them at JOBEX.
Wayne Pearce, Oman Air's Chief Executive Officer, says:
"Oman Air's continuing success has seen the growth of our fleet and network of destinations, the introduction of outstanding comfort, space and luxury both in the air and on the ground, and increases in passenger numbers and load factors. Passenger feedback is overwhelmingly positive and we have attracted acclaim in the form of more than 20 awards. None of this would have been possible without the remarkable efforts of Oman Air's dedicated staff, the majority of whom are Omani.
