Saudi Arabia - UD Trucks, a leading Japanese commercial vehicle solutions provider and a Volvo Group brand, announced that Zahid Tractor has become the new exclusive importer and distributor of UD Trucks, parts and services across Saudi Arabia.

With over four decades of operation in Saudi Arabia, UD Trucks has been delivering the highest level of customer service, with a focus on minimising downtime while ensuring reliability and committing to UD values, according to a press release on Wednesday.

The initial phase of the partnership aims to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction, with no delays during the transition process.

Moreover, the mutual efforts reflect “UD Trucks’ ambitions for the Kingdom and Zahid Tractor’s long-standing reputation as a customer-centric organization,” according to the statement.

Commenting on this, the president of UD Trucks MEENA, Mourad Hedna, commented, “Saudi Arabia has always been, and continues to be an extremely important market for UD Trucks. In our new partnership with Zahid Tractor, we see excellent potential for future growth and look forward to implementing the significant plans we have for the Kingdom together.”

In the meantime, Zahid Group’s president – Transport, Nasser J. Bayram, added, “The same infrastructure, after-sales services, Customers Centers network we already have in place serving our Volvo Trucks, Renaults Trucks, and Volvo Bus customers will be welcoming all of UD existing and new customers."

“UD is also well positioned to join our “Made in Saudi Arabia” Production line of 20 years at our new factory, Arabian Vehicles Industries (AVI), in King Abdullah Economic City – Rabigh, in the near future,” he concluded.
