Riyadh: MBC Media Solutions (MMS), the commercial advertising and sales arm of MBC GROUP – the largest and leading media company in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) –held its very first event in Riyadh to highlight its role in Saudi’s future vision and its offerings to the Saudi market.

The event, ‘Unlocking Opportunities’, which took place on Wednesday, saw speakers from MBC GROUP and MMS, talk about MBC GROUP’s vision, upcoming projects, content lineup and on-ground efforts in Saudi Arabia to name a few.

Commenting on the launch of MMS’s very first event in Riyadh, Mohamed Al Khereiji, Chairman of MMS said: “Vision 2030 has opened opportunities across all fields and sectors, especially the media and entertainment industries. We’re witnessing groundbreaking developments in the Kingdom thanks to the clear vision put in place by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince H.R.H Mohammed bin Salman. The Saudi government’s plan, to invest more on entertainment in the coming 10 years, presents further prospects for us to work with clients and help them better connect with their audiences. We aim to play our role in contributing to this change by supporting our clients in positioning themselves positively in this growing landscape.”

Al Khereiji continued:  “Being part of the Saudi culture for the past three decades has armed the team with the institutional knowledge and expertise needed to guide clients on how to best utilize MMS’s integrated solution-oriented approach.” 

Ahmed Al Sahhaf, CEO of MMS highlighted the notable milestones achieved by MMS, since its inception one year ago and added: “We have established our offices and successfully commenced our activities, cementing our presence across the region— in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE.  We were also chosen as the exclusive advertising representatives of Saudi Sports Company (SSC) and Al Arabiya News and we have successfully adopted an inclusive approach encompassing SMEs, governments & large multinationals— through customized offerings that meet clients’ specific challenges.”

Al Sahhaf continued: “MMS’s holistic approach, which relies on the latest innovations in data measurement technologies, offers data-driven solutions that rely on accurate data between linear TV and VOD platforms, which is new to the industry. We diversified our solutions to leverage the scale of MBC GROUP, which reaches an average of 13.8M million TV views in KSA per month, 4 billion views a month on digital platforms, 575 million followers across all social media platforms and Shahid’s two million subscribers, to achieve our client’s targets.”

The event’s speakers, which included Jana Yamani, Executive Director of MBC ACADEMY, MBC TALENT and MBC AL AMAL, Sharif Baddreddine, Director of Commercial at MMS, Mofeed Alnowaisir, Chief Digital Officer at MBC GROUP and Amani Moussa Head of Content Planning, Audio and Music at MBC GROUP, was attended by international brands, SMEs, Government representatives and much more.

The speakers highlighted the role of MMS in driving growth, the future of content, MBC GROUP’s upcoming lineup, the role of digital and MBC’s role and vision in KSA.
