* Tunisia's state grains agency bought about 50,000 tonnes of soft wheat, about 50,000 tonnes of durum wheat and around 25,000 tonnes of feed barley in a tender that closed on Friday, European traders said

* The grains can all be sourced from optional origins

* The soft wheat was all purchased at $226.99 a tonne c&f from trading house Ameropa, they said. It was bought in two 25,000 tonne consignments

* The durum was also bought in two 25,000 tonne consignments, one from Glencore at $288.29 a tonne c&f and the other from Casillo at $289.68 a tonne c&f

* The barley was bought from Soufflet in one 25,000 tonne consignment at $246.24 a tonne c&f

* The soft wheat was sought for shipment from April 25 to May 25, depending on origin, they said

* The durum was sought for shipment from Sept. 15 to Nov. 5 and the barley for shipment from April 25 to May 15, also depending on origin

* In its last reported tender on March 2, Tunisia purchased around 67,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat and 50,000 tonnes of barley also sourced from optional origins
