Egyptian developer JD Holding is planning to develop a twin-tower project called River Side in the New Administrative Capital at an investment of about 4 billion Egyptian pounds ($254.5 million), a top company official said.

Abdallah Gabr told Zawya Projects that the 15-storey twin tower project, spread over an area of about 6,000 square metres, will house offices, clinics and stores.

He said construction would start by October 2021 and would complete in 2024.

The company's engineering manager Ahmed Elseherty said they have started enabling works for their 2 billion pound ($127 million) Tower 10 commercial project in the NAC. The 9-storey project is scheduled for completion by January 2024.

Horizon is the main consultant for both projects, he added.

Elseherty said the company is also developing 120 plots in New Cairo, and is planning new projects in the NAC and Alamein City without elaborating further.
