Within the training programs offered by the Information Technology Authority (ITA) to develop eSociety and provide specialized training opportunities to graduates and specialists in different ICT fields, the ITA signed yesterday an agreement with GUANGXI CHANCE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD from China in ITA’s headquarters, Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM).

Hassan Fida Al-Lawati, DG, Digital Society Development Division at ITA signed the agreement with Luxiaofeng, CEO of GUANGXI CHANCE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.

According to the agreement,  ten graduates of Sas center for Virtual Reality will have a 3-month on/job training from September to November of the current year at the company’s headquarters in China in the field of Virtual reality and Augmented Reality.

It is worth mentioning that the ITA has signed a number of strategic partnerships with some international companies to provide several services including training services that can help the Omani youth enhance their skills and abilities in various IT areas, especially in the field of emerging technologies of the fourth industrial revolution. These skills will enable them to keep up with the market’s needs or in establishing their own businesses, which will boost the IT industry in the Sultanate.
