KUWAIT CITY: The Ministry of Electricity and Water is on its way to end services of 118 expatriates working in various sectors in various professions in accordance with the Civil Service Bureau’s plan to replace Kuwaiti workers in all state institutions as per Kuwaitization policy.

The ministry had already terminated the services of 59 employees who exceeded 30 years of service, reports Al Rai. The Civil Service Bureau requested government ministries to freeze the contracts of 626 expatriate employees who are working for the fiscal year 2020-2021 budget, including 130 expatriates in the Ministry of Electricity and Water.
