As business opened their doors and welcomed employees back to work, Renaissance Services, Oman’s leading people services and facilities management company helped guide them through best practices when it comes to workplace and people safety following the COVID19 pandemic.

The campaign titled #BackToWork that was developed by Renaissance encouraged business leaders to download a best-practices guide that was made available through the company’s website and social media handles during the weeks of August and September when organisations prepared to open their offices.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way organisations are functioning globally. With the new normal of work from home, remote access and virtual meetings, it is of paramount importance for companies to build a framework to help reacquaint employees back into the workplace safely. The guidelines we had developed were designed to help employers to bring their people back into work in the most seamless way possible. With the combined efforts of the HR, QHSE and the Business Resilience teams at Renaissance, we were able to provide a general overview as well as specific guidelines for employers to develop an effective strategy to bring employees back to work safely”, said Adil Bahwan, COO, Renaissance Services.

The campaign that was delivered through the company’s social media channels and the wider digital ecosystem in Oman generated over 800,000 impressions with over 3,500 users going on to view the guidelines document.

“We were delighted to see the level of commitment from business leaders in Oman to adhering to best practices on workplace safety. Staying safe by following the safe practices as laid down by the Ministry of Health and the Supreme Committee on COVID-19 is a responsibility that each of us needs to make our top priority. This is how we can continue to support and show our solidarity for Oman’s key frontline heroes”, Bahwan added.
