Dubai, UAE: Mashreq, one of the leading financial institutions in the UAE, today announced its commitment to bring in #PositiveChange this Ramadan by encouraging a message of solidarity and positive action across the wider community.

As people across the country and beyond experience a new way of celebrating and observing the holy month, the bank is launching a campaign to raise awareness about Positive Change. By promoting local SMEs across its own channels, the bank hopes to achieve a positive impact on the sustainability and financial health of this sector. In parallel, the bank will encourage people to share their heartwarming stories of #PositiveChange to push forward their peer to peer contribution and support.

In addition to SMEs the Bank will encourage people to share their own hopeful stories of #PositiveChange through digital platforms.

Commenting on the announcement, Ahmed Abdelaal, Group CEO of Mashreq said: “The culture of Mashreq is built on humanitarian values and driven by hope and optimism. Mashreq hopes to encourages, citizens and residents to join in and voice their perspectives on positive change. To become a part of the campaign, individuals simply need to need to upload their videos on their respective social pages and tag #Mashreq & #Positivechange.
