HAMBURG/DUBAI- Jordan's state grains buyer purchased about 60,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat to be sourced from optional origins in a tender which closed on Tuesday, traders said.

It was all bought from trading house CHS at $229.99 a tonne c&f for shipment in the second half of November.

Two other trading houses participated in the tender. Glencore was believed to have offered $235 a tonne c&f and Grainexport $242 a tonne c&f.
