Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Tax Authority called on individuals to submit their tax disclosures online.

This is in line with the government’s efforts to encourage social distancing amid rising concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the authority’s head Reda Abdel Kader said in a statement on Tuesday.

Starting from January, corporates have been obligated to submit their tax disclosure online, he added.

The current tax season began on 1 January and will end on 31 March for individuals and 30 April for corporates.
