Muscat: Omani-Saudi Investment Forum was launched to introduce investment opportunities between the Sultanate and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to promote investments in various fields.

The forum witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in the field of investment promotion and holding bilateral meetings between Omani businessmen and their Saudi counterparts to discuss prospects for commercial cooperation and joint investment opportunities.

His Excellency Qais bin Muhammad Al-Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, stressed in his speech during the forum that the leaderships of the two countries are working towards strengthening the real investment partnership in various economic fields.

His Excellency Eng Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Saudi Minister of Investment, said in his speech that these meetings will have a significant impact on strengthening trade relations between the two countries and praised the ambitions and aspirations of the two visions - 'Oman Vision 2040' and 'Kingdom 2030'.
