Riyadh: Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd (REC) has announced recently its new “Exhibitions and Conferences Calendar”, which includes a series of specialized international exhibitions that will take place between October 2019 and November 2020. During the press conference that was held at Hilton Hotel Riyadh, it was revealed that the calendar will include events in various fields such as agriculture, construction, healthcare, heavy equipment and machinery, packaging, plastic and petrochemical industries, transportation and electricity.

Mohammed Al-Sheikh, Head of Marketing & PR at Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd (REC), stated during the press conference that the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) is growing significantly in the Kingdom due to the Saudi government’s facilitations through the Saudi Exhibition & Convention Bureau (SECB), which confirms Saudi Policymakers commitment to the development of the sector as part of the efforts to support economic diversification away from oil revenues.

 “For the fourth quarter of this year (2019) until November next year (2020), REC plans to organize and manage a rich portfolio of sustainable programs covering vital sectors in the Kingdom”, he said, “These programs include: Saudi Print & Pack, the Saudi Plastic & Petrochemicals, which is the largest industrial gathering in the region; Saudi HealthCare Exhibition, the Kingdom’s largest healthcare event which will host more than 25,000 professionals and leading healthcare providers and suppliers in the region”.

Additionally, as explained by Al-Sheikh, Saudi Build which will support the construction sector in the Kingdom. The exhibition, which will be organized by REC in October, will be dedicated to supporting the construction sector in the Kingdom. Additionally, the Saudi Transport and Logistics Service will host a breadth of industry specialists, from courier services, air freight services, shipping agents, safety, to security systems experts. The exhibition is expected to provide unprecedented investment opportunities and projects in the transport and logistics sector.

Furthermore, held concurrently with Saudi Agrofood, Saudi Food Pack and Saudi Organic food, the Saudi Aquaculture Exhibition will provide an opportunity for local and international companies to showcase the latest innovations, equipment and products which can lead the industry towards a prosperous future.

One of the most prominent exhibitions that will be organized in the upcoming period, is Saudi Elenex 2020, which marks its 23rd edition will cover topics relating to Electricity, Alternative Energy, Water Technology and Lighting & HVAC. Saudi Elenex will be held concurrently with Saudi Aircon 2020, the International Show for Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC).

The Saudi Elenex will present a chance to showcase products, services and technologies to over than 15,000 corporate visitors representing multinationals, SMEs and large-scale organizations from Saudi Arabia and the GCC. It will also secure an unparalleled opportunity to network with government officials, international buyers, consultants and industry specialists, and to foster long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships with local companies to launch joint ventures and projects of common interest.
