DUBAI- Omani port of Duqm launched an international tender to select an operator for a new container terminal, the Port of Duqm Company said on Thursday.

The selected operator will be granted a 30-year licence to develop and operate the facility, located in the southeast of the Sultanate.

The new terminal will have a capacity of 1.7 million 20-foot equivalent unit (TEU) by the end of the first phase of the project, the company said in a tender notice.
