Salalah – Placing road safety at the forefront of its operations, Mercedes-Benz Oman is offering Health Checks for Actros trucks as part of its Service Week in Salalah. Held from October 7th – October 11th at the Salalah Service Centre, the Health Checks are available at OMR 98 for Mercedes-Benz Actros six-cylinder engines and OMR 105 for Mercedes-Benz Actros eight-cylinder engines. Mercedes-Benz trained technicians will perform a comprehensive check including engine oil and filter change, replacement of diesel filter, check for oil leaks on major components, adjust fluid levels as well retightening of lug nuts on two/three axels. In addition, they will perform a diagnostic check-up of electrical systems, engine compression test and multi point inspection. Driver training will also be available upon request.

Available from October 7th to 11th, the Health Check packages include engine oil (mineral oil) and filter changes, diesel filter replacements, oil leak checks on all major components, the checking and adjusting of fluid levels, re-tightening of lug nuts on two/three axles and a diagnostic check-up of the Actros electrical system. In addition, these thorough Health Checks include engine compression tests with diagnostic tools that indicate engine condition, a multi-point inspection, and vehicle washing and greasing. Expert Mercedes-Benz Service Technicians will carry out the Health Checks for OMR 98 on Mercedes-Benz Actros 6-cylinder engines and OMR 105 on Mercedes-Benz Actros 8-cylinder engines. Specialist drivers will also be on hand to offer skills training to Actros truck drivers.
