Muscat: Municipal authorities confiscated a number of mobile food trucks on charges of violating municipal laws dealing with selling on the streets.

According to Muscat Municipality, some of the trucks do not have a license while others were selling in unauthorized streets.

Muscat Municipality said in a statement online: "The Municipality department in Seeb, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, carried out a campaign to confiscate vehicles for mobile sale of food. Some of the trucks do not have a license to practice the activity of barbecuing meat, and others were violating laws by selling on streets that are not designated for this activity."
