AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office the newly-appointed Pakistani Ambassador to Jordan, HE Mr. Sajjad Ali Khan, accompanied by his Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Taimur Zulfiqar , and the Trade and Investment Attaché, Mr. Khadim Ali, to discuss several issues including TAG-Global's expansion into the Pakistani market.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh highlighted the potential of introducing the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech) smart devices into the Pakistani market by establishing a factory in Pakistan, considering that the demand for all TAGTech technological devices is rapidly growing globally; bearing in mind that the Pakistani market is one of the world’s largest markets, as the number of smartphone users in the country has reached up to 185,000,000.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further stressed the importance of supporting the Pakistani Government's efforts toward digital transformation through the provision of e-archiving services to Pakistan's institutions; noting that TAG.Global is currently holding discussions with the largest Pakistani companies to establish a TAGTech factory to serve the Pakistani market and neighboring markets as well.

Additionally, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed that Jordan-Pakistan relations have been always characterized by mutual respect and cooperation in different fields, referring to various business opportunities available for both parties to collaborate at different levels.

For his part, Ambassador Khan expressed his pride in the deep-rooted ties with TAG.Global, affirming his full support to cooperate in several areas, especially in light of the available investment opportunities and the urgent need for external investment in Pakistan

During the meeting the two sides also discussed several other business topics and potential cooperation opportunities in view of the existing strong Jordanian-Pakistani relationship.
