ArabFinance: Egypt detected 643 additional COVID-19 infections on January 26th, taking the total count to 163,129 since the pandemic started.

The ministry reported 55 new fatalities, bringing the death toll to 9,067.

The country now has 127,433 total recoveries after 432 more patients were discharged from COVID-19 hospitals, the statement added.

The public in Egypt might be able to register on the state website to register for vaccinating next week, according to Mohamed Abdel Fattah, head of the health ministrys Central Administration for Preventive Affairs.

Earlier this month, health minister Hala Zayed revealed 34 specialized centers to offer COVID-19 vaccines.
