Bahrain-based Gulf CX plans to create 450 jobs in three years

MANAMA: A Bahrain-based outsourcing and customer experience provider will create 450 jobs over the next three years on the back of $10 million worth of international contracts, it has emerged.

Gulf CX announced it has been contracted by 30 well-known companies operating across the fields of food and nutrition, e-commerce, and retail to manage their call centres operating in the GCC and beyond.

Those contracts will contribute to the creation of 450 jobs over the coming three years, it said.

Gulf CX chief executive Rami Sweis said: “This is undoubtedly a significant win with one of the region’s most exciting and dynamic technology companies.

Originally launched with support from the Economic Development Board (EDB) in 2015, Gulf CX today operates a local contact centre that is 50 per cent staffed by women and offers a flexible shift schedule allowing employees to work remotely to offer maximum flexibility to both employees and customers.

The firm chose Bahrain as its regional hub to serve a large customer base of around 50m customers across the GCC, as the country offers some of the region’s best value operating costs, along with a highly educated bilingual workforce allowing for an unparalleled multilingual and high-quality customer experience.
