With cooler temperatures gracing the UAE, celebrate a holly, jolly holiday season on Yas Island with a multitude of wonderful festivities including winter carnivals, fireworks displays, seasonal shopping and capping off with unforgettable New Year’s celebration, Resolution featuring Bruno Mars.
Magical Celebrations at the Yas Winter Carnival
From 11 December and running until 16 December, the Yas Winter Carnival at Yas Island’s Gateway Park South will be one of the capital’s most festive events complete with spectacular nightly fireworks, daily snowfall (yes, it will snow on Yas Island!), festive sing-alongs and shopping at the cosy Winter Market. With free entry to the carnival, guests of all ages can share the wonders of the season with their loved ones.
Winterfest is coming to town at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi brings back the award-winning WinterFest from 20 December to 4 January with a wonderous line-up of live entertainment including an Elf Adage and ice-skating shows, a Gingerbread Factory, Frosty’s Holiday Hoopla and much more.
Sleigh the night away at Yas Marina’s Festive Block Party
This season’s rockin’ street party is set to return to Yas Marina on 19 December. Guests can jingle the night away with their holiday favorites tunes while tucking into seasonal goodies at the Yas Marina’s much loved restaurants.
Tons of festive fun at Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi
Warner Bros.™ World Abu Dhabi will also be joining the festive flair this year, from 20 December to 4 January as the award-winning attraction hosts the Winter Wonderland Spectacular. Guests can look forward to seeing their favorite characters and superheroes perform a special show just to celebrate the season.
Walk in to a winter wonderland at Yas Mall
Starting 13 December, shoppers can enjoy a winter wonderland at Yas Mall with Santa’s Grotto, bright, sparkling trees and décor as well as a quaint holiday market to get through their gift lists. Last minute shoppers need not fear, Yas Mall’s festive vibes will run through 24 December.
Watch Megastar Bruno Mars on New Year’s Eve
Yas Island will ring in the much awaited new year, 2020, by hosting the Megastar Bruno Mars at the two-day festival, Resolution. Performing on New Year’s Eve, at Resolution by Night, concert goers can end their last night of the year in style at du Arena. The fun continues January 1, 2020 with Resolution by Day – a family festival with entertainment for everyone.
