Abu Dhabi: The Center for Behavioral Institutional Design (C-BID) at NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) will officially mark its inauguration by hosting a virtual public event.

The virtual session will inform the public about C-BID’s purpose and capabilities, as well as discussing how it can bring behavioral social science to public policy and best serve the UAE community through ‘nudges’, institutional design, and other kinds of behavioral interventions.

With its long-term goal to construct empirically validated models of human behavior, the C-BID at NYUAD leverages a worldwide network of leading behavioral social scientists to design and implement policies and institutions that will improve social welfare. C-BID engages in cutting-edge scientific research to advance its understanding of human behavior, explore its implications for institutional design, and lead in the application of behavioral social science to public policy.
