Dubai; June 02, 2007 - With temperatures rising across the Middle East Starbucks Coffee has come to the rescue with the launch of new Frappuccino® blended beverages to cool you down this summer.

Available for a limited period only during the hot summer months, Starbucks has today introduced across the UAE the Banana Frappuccino® blended beverages favourite in two exciting new taste sensations; Banana Java Chip Frappuccino® Blended Coffee and Banana Java Chip Chocolate Frappuccino® Blended Cream.

"Hot on the heels of last summer's hugely successful Banana Frappuccino® launch we have introduced two new exotic taste sensations to provide the perfect way to escape the heat. Boasting real banana sauce, the famous Starbucks Frappuccino® base features the finest Latin American coffees for a bold roasted flavour or only with the cream base without adding coffee if preferred that way, with delicious cocoa cookie crumbs, milk and ice, topped with whipped cream and mocha drizzle - these delicious ice cool refreshing beverages are guaranteed to be a showstopper this summer.

As part of its delectable summer launch Starbucks is also introducing the Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin. This scrumptious mouth-watering muffin is the perfect partner to enjoy with your delicious Banana Frappuccino®.
