Renowned jazz singer and musician performing at Grand Hyatt's stylish cocktail lounge
Dubai, UAE, May 18, 2004. Cooz, Grand Hyatt Dubai’s elegant lounge situated on the hotel’s lobby level, is playing host to American jazz pianist and vocalist Scotty Wright until end September.
Scotty’s career spans almost five decades from his first performance as a 13-year-old in sixties pop group The Soul Seekers, to his latter-day performances at some of the world’s best known hotels and jazz bars. A veteran of the recording studio as well as appearances on film and television, Scotty’s has been described as, “...having it all – a full-bodied simple voice that can dip into the low range or scat at 60mph, great rhythmic sense, taste and technique to spare.” (Jazz Times Magazine)
Comfortable with both traditional and modern-day jazz, Scotty’s range of music is the perfect accompaniment to a stylish evening at Cooz. He will be performing six evenings a week from 9pm till 1am.
In addition to enjoying the mellow sounds of jazz every evening, Grand Hyatt Dubai also presents "Wines of the World" at Cooz. From 6pm until 9pm, enjoy unlimited glasses of wine from a selection of over 17 labels from around the world for only AED 60. Choices include wines as Corvina Terre in Fiore from Italy, Anubis Tempranillo from Spain and Bourgogne Aligote, Domaine Rollin from France. To help you in your wine choice, a handy reference guide is provided. During the evening, an A la Carte food menu from Al Nakheel is available as well as a cheese platter from Manhattan Grill.
