Reach out to public to adopt its mission

Dubai (UAE): The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) finished from preparing the traffic awareness program for Eid Al-Adha holiday which includes visits to the injured people as a result of road accidents and presents gifts for them in addition to greeting cards in a number of public areas in order to enhance the RTA social role in investing the social, religious and cultural events to promote a culture of road safety in the minds of the members of society.

Badr Mattar Al Siri, Director of the Traffic Department in the Traffic and Roads Agency in the Authority who also supervise the implementation of the traffic awareness program during the Eid said that the social activity accompanied the Eid that to be launched by RTA aimed at extending our hands to the public and clarify our partnership that binds us to them which aims to protect the lives from the road dangers committing from various traffic violations.

He commended the cooperation of the traffic campaigns section in the General Department of Traffic in Dubai Police which will help in the distribution of greeting cards.

He pointed out that the RTA adopted the practice of drafting greeting words of congratulation on the tissue boxes distribute it to the public in order to remain the greeting card during Eid days. Noting that the awareness team set merely words (every year and you healthy) and with the wishes to all with happy Eid and invitation to reconcile with oneself and others and to consider amiably to the people and nature surrounding us and not harm them with an accident that result from error going senselessly. 

He also warns that all mistakes and traffic violations constitute harm and damage for others and reduce the safety level.
