10 MAY, 2011 - Regional expertise in the field of facilities management, HVAC and other operational maintenance is increasing as a result of intensive training that MAF Dalkia staff across the Middle East are undergoing with Campus Veolia Environnement, the internal training entity of Dalkia's parent company, Veolia Environment. Fundamental [W1] issues in facilities management including cooling processes, air conditioning and other key technical aspects facing companies which own buildings in the Middle East made up the bulk of MAF Dalkia's training conducted this week.
"Facilities management is a dynamic sector and the more training that FM providers in the Middle East conduct annually to teach new ways to reduce costs and introduce more efficient systems, the more benefit that business owners in the region derive from the services our industry provides," said Alexandre Mussallam, CEO of MAF Dalkia. The company requires a minimum of one training session per year for its 1000 staff in the Middle East.
Adina Barsan, the international training project manager from Campus Veolia Environnement, added, "As MAF Dalkia heads into 2011, its training needs will increase so that it keeps up with the latest developments in the maintenance and operational fields, enabling the company to enhance its current facilities management offerings. In addition. MAF Dalkia plans to focus and invest in certifying its employees on core-business skills in order to offer a consistently high level of service to its Middle East clients".
The Veolia Environnement Group offers a range of effective programmes which encourage individual development in an open and stimulating setting. Campus Veolia Environnement carries out 825,000 training hours and instructs 17,300 trainees per year awarding a range of 15 different diplomas from basic certification up to master degree level.
