New solution is an upgrade to existing NEC and Philips systems
Dubai, United Arab Emirates; 7 June 2011 - NEC Unified Solutions, a leading provider of IT and communication solutions, today hosted a special seminar for its existing users of iS3000 systems. The seminar was held jointly with its authorised partner, Al Rostamani Communications LLC (a member of the Al Rostamani Group).
Experts from NEC and Al Rostamani Communications, a Leading System Integrator in the UAE for both Enterprise and Telecom market segments, presented interactive sessions and also demonstrated the various value added products and services for iS3000 platforms, ranging from improving communication efficiency and how to enhance and expand iS3000 functionality and scalability by SIP@Net, peer-to-peer communications, Video Communication and SIP-based user-to-user messaging.
The upgraded NEC iS3000 / SIP@Net systems will provide these customers with a unified communication solution combining IP and traditional TDM telephony. The systems are open to further future enhancements while protecting existing investments in terminals, applications and infrastructure. As 'communications' encompasses new technologies, the NEC iS3000 / SIP@Net systems adds SIP capabilities to existing iS3000 platforms and help migrate easily to a full IP solution based on standard servers.
