Latest NetApp Multi-Cloud Solutions, Services Help Organizations Speed Innovation and Make Better Decisions

Dubai, UAE - Organizations today are increasingly looking for data management solutions that help them accelerate their applications, gain control of shadow IT, and leverage the Cloud for specific workloads while maintaining high-levels of data security. In response to this demand, NetApp has  released new Data Fabric solutions and services that it is showcasing at GITEX Technology Week. Building on its GITEX theme 'Liberate your data with Data Fabric', NetApp will demonstrate its leadership in enabling customers to seamlessly manage data across whatever IT resource they choose, speeding innovation and enabling better business decisions.

GITEX announcements include:

·         Data Fabric Solution Essentials - starter kit: This makes it easier for customers to become hybrid cloud ready and quickly see benefits as they evolve their infrastructures. Three new offerings target key IT challenges, focusing on accelerating applications, gaining control of shadow IT, and improving disaster recovery capabilities.

·         Data Fabric Enablement Services to help customers create their own data fabrics. NetApp experts can help customers identify optimal workloads for the cloud and gain the architectural design and deployment insights they need for success.

·         Expansion of cloud provider relationships: NetApp is now a Google Cloud Platform Technology Partner. Technology Partners provide tools which integrate with Google Cloud Platform to extend its reach and functionality. NetApp customers can choose from more than 275 service providers to craft their hybrid cloud, with support for multi-cloud and multi-directional strategies and integration of resources that are on-premises, near-the-cloud and in-the-cloud.

·         Data security, additional media support, volume capacity increases and other enhancements to Cloud ONTAP, NetApp software that allows customers to quickly deploy enterprise-grade storage in the cloud and automate data movement to and from their premises and Amazon Web Services.

·         Enhanced security and other capabilities for NetApp AltaVault® cloud-integrated storage solutions. These solutions speed recovery and reduce risk, enabling users to back up data with security to any cloud.

Accelerating the Business with All Flash FAS
In addition to Data Fabric, one of the main solutions being exhibited is the NetApp flash portfolio. The All Flash FAS (AFF) addresses enterprise storage requirements, offers flexibility and best-in-class data management. Built on the clustered Data ONTAP storage operating system, the solution speeds up the business without compromising on efficiency, reliability, or the flexibility of IT operations.

At GITEX, NetApp is also showcasing its E-Series portfolio of video surveillance storage solutions. NetApp's E-Series provides a line of external storage systems designed to meet today's video storage challenges. The E-Series storage system uses a modular architecture for a true pay-as-you-grow solution to address growing data storage requirements.

GITEX Onsite Activities:
To take attendee  engagement to the next level, visitors at the NetApp stand will also get to experience an interactive augmented reality experience. Following the experience, show visitors will have the opportunity to take their own Google VR 3D Carbon Glasses kit with them after having visited the NetApp booth.
