Deira City Centre has won a major honour for its achievement in building a leading brand by being judged the ‘Retail Brand of the Decade’ at the Gulf Brands of the Decade Awards.
Deira City Centre was judged the Brand of Decade in the ‘Retail and Duty Free’ category against its major competitors.
Deira City Centre General Manager Mr Rashid Zakaria Doleh said: 'This is a great recognition for Deira City Centre as not only a great brand but is validation of Deira City Centre being the people’s choice in shopping in Dubai."
"Deira City Centre has long been the retail heart of Dubai and a must-see destination for visitors to the Emirates," he said.
Mr Doleh also thanked the mall’s advertising and communications agency TBWA/RAAD, saying that this award was a key achievement in the current business climate which has seen unprecedented growth and competition in the UAE retail.
"The award highlights the great work of the total Deira City Centre marketing team and TBWA/RAAD for its tireless work in positioning the mall as a leader in its field," Mr Doleh said.
Deira City Centre has an aggressive expansion and business strategy and recently unveiled a totally new level with more than 24 new stores and has focused its efforts on customer service and providing the type of stores and layout that shoppers demand from a key mall.
