Dubai: On Saturday, 25. March, LEGOLAND® Hotel, part of LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort, will celebrate ‘Earth Hour’ for the first time, together with millions of people and hundreds of organisations around the world, by turning off non-essential electric lights for one hour, from 8:30pm to 9:30pm as a symbol of commitment to the planet, as part of the global movement organized every year by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF).

This year, LEGOLAND Hotel, the first of its kind in the Middle East, perfect for families with children aged 2-12 years old, will mark this year’s celebration with a special 'Earth Hour’ themed creative workshop from 8:30pm to 9:00pm, presented to the young guests* aged 5 years and above, staying at the hotel. On the day, hotel guests will be encouraged to celebrate this occasion by switching off their room lights for one hour and will be invited to watch their kids taking part in the exclusive ‘Earth Hour’ creative workshop. Highlighting the unique playful learning concept at LEGOLAND Hotel, Jameel Ahmed Abdul, ‘LEGO® Build and Experience Instructor’ of the Creative Workshop will share with the young participants, during this fun session, various simplified and interesting facts about Earth Hour, the environment and how every person, even the little ones can take part in saving the planet.

The creative workshop is one of the activities that every young guest, between the age of 3-12 years, enjoys as part LEGOLAND Hotel’s ultimate sleepover, offering different session for children of different age groups.

Furthermore, ‘Earth Hour’ will be celebrated by LEGOLAND Hotel team members, where all non-essential lights at the hotel back of house will be switched off from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

**Earth Hour creative workshop session is available only on Saturday, 25. March 2023 from 8:30pm to 9:00pm for guests staying at LEGOLAND Hotel aged 5 years old and above on complimentary basis. Limited number of places available, pre-booking is essential at LEGOLAND Hotel Guest Services.
