Manama, Bahrain:  Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) held its Annual General Meeting at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa, attended by H.E. Roddy Drummond, the British Ambassador to Bahrain.  The meeting was highlighted by the re-election of the majority of the current executive committee for the 2023-2025 term and the addition of two new committee members, with Khalid Al Zayani OBE continuing as the BBBF Chairman.

BBBF Vice Chair Paula Boast MBE opened the proceedings and BBBF Chairman Khalid Al Zayani OBE, gave his annual report summarising the forum’s activities for the past year.

During the year, numerous new members joined the forum strengthening its position as the largest and most active business group in Bahrain. The forum arranged frequent meetings and events, featuring high-profile speakers from local businesses and government entities, including ministers, and business and community leaders, from Bahrain and the UK.

Khalid Al Zayani OBE said in his address: “We are delighted to be back to in-person meetings and I am always amazed how diverse the BBBF membership is, and how many great business leaders and entrepreneurs we are fortunate to have as members. We are pleased to have welcomed new members, and we look forward to welcoming many more this year, particularly new Bahraini members to boost our membership even further.”

Mr. Al Zayani OBE expressed his appreciation and thanks to the forum’s Executive Committee, and corporate sponsors Euro Motors, CharlesRussell Speechlys, Etihad Airways, Gulf Brands International, and Yoiku PR.
