Dubai – The shareholders of National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) approved a cash dividend distribution of 13.50 fils per share for 2022, according to a press release.

The annual general meeting (AGM) greenlighted the cash dividends, which mark the highest dividend amount in the company’s 25-year history, on 20 March 2023.

Khaled Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Chairman of Tabreed, commented: “On the back of an exceptional year, we are delighted to issue a record dividend payment, unlocking further value for our shareholders while we continue to benefit people, societies and the environment with our pioneering, reliable, and sustainable solutions.”

Last year, Tabreed achieved net profits attributable to the owners of AED 600.18 million, higher by 3% than AED 585.15 million in 2021.

Revenues jumped by 13% to AED 2.21 billion in 2022 from AED 1.95 billion in 2021, whereas the basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) attributable to the shareholders hit AED 0.21.
