AMMAN - The Health Ministry on Sunday said that it would start the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 inside the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees, who already registered on the designated platform, during the next two days.

The ministry, in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, noted that the campaign is a precautionary measure as part of the emergency response plan to contain the pandemic in a way that contributes to protect Syrian refugees and residents in the Kingdom.

The ministry also stressed that it follows “fair procedures” in distributing the vaccine among the targeted segments.
