KUWAIT -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by USD 2.18 to USD 72.79 per barrel on Monday in contrast to USD 70.61 pb last Friday, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Tuesday.

The prices of the Brent crude and West Texas Intermediate went down respectively by USD 1.15 and USD 1.47 to settle each at USD 69.21 per barrel and USD 66.98 pb.
