KUWAIT -- The price of Kuwaiti oil rose USD 1.81 to hit USD 102.44 per barrel (pb) Thursday, compared to USD 100.63 Wednesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Friday.

In global markets, the price of Brent crude went up by USD 1.17 to reach USD 95.92 per barrel, as West Texas Intermediate rose by USD 3.46 to USD 97.87 pb.
