Damascus - Work has commenced on the Towers of Syria project in al-Baramkeh area in Damascus, which is being carried out by Syria Holdings for Damascus City Governorate.
The project, which has an estimated overall cost of SP 15 billion, includes high-tech office complexes, five-star hotel, apartments, conference center, shopping center, restaurants, cafes, movie theaters and parking lots.
In a statement, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Syria Holdings Haitham Joud said that work on the project is going according to schedule in cooperation with Damascus City governorate and the Ministry of Tourism.
Syria Holdings carried out several in-depth and comprehensive studies in cooperation with international companies to select the parties that will be in charge of carrying out and managing the project. The project design is currently being finalized by a French company, and the architectural plans will follow later.
