JEDDAH – All international flights stand suspended as of 11 a.m. Sunday March 15, 2020, until further notice, Saudi Press Agency cited Saudi Arabian Airlines as announcing.

This is in line with the precautionary and preventive measures being taken by the competent authorities in the Kingdom to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

These measures are also in tandem with the directives issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to suspend all international flights for two weeks.

Meanwhile, operation of domestic flights will continue as scheduled.

Saudia is keeping pace with the precautionary measures being taken by the pertinent authorities in the Kingdom, as well as the directives on preventive measures in this connection, by immediate implementation.

This began with suspending Guangzhou flights on Feb. 2, then suspending flights to several destinations, until the full suspension of all international flights.
