Riyadh –  Independent board members of the Middle East Healthcare Company (Saudi German Hospital) recommended awarding the contract for the digital transformation of the company's hospitals to Megamind IT Solutions Company, subject to the general assembly’s approval.

Valued at SAR 264.683 million, the contract is expected to be signed on 3 January 2021, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.

Board chairman, Sobhi Abdul Jalil Batterjee, vice chairman of the board, Makarem Sobhi Abdul Jalil Batterjee, as well as board members Khaled Abdul Jalil Batterjee and Sultan Sobhi Abdul Jalil Batterjee are related parties to the contract.

The digital transformation project will contribute to raising the level of healthcare services and help the company’s hospitals in obtaining more accurate information and access to health data in a better and timely manner.

Moreover, it is expected to reduce the operating cost by large sums while improving the quality of medical services provided and the speed of performance, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
