KUWAIT, Jan 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti businessman Saud Sahoud Al-Mutairi struck a KD 55 million deal on Monday with Al-Tamdin real estate company to buy its Al-Fanar Complex, in Salmiya.

Al-Fanar is one of the biggest complexes in Kuwait, Al-Mutairi told KUNA, adding that he is much interested in buying distinguished real estate and complexes especially in Salem Al-Mubarak street, the main shopping centre in Kuwait.

The Complex, built on a total area of 12,000 square metres, belongs to modern architecture and is one of the distinguished shopping markets in Salmiya where strong power of purchase is found all through the year.

Al-Mutairi noted that he would develop the Centre and add more buildings to give it a more lovely shape.

In December Al-Mutairi signed a KD 35.5 million contract to but Al-Salam Complex, on the same street.

He said he would pull down Al-salm Complex and build a new modern mall.
