KUWAIT, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- Kazma soccer team hammered Tadhamon with three unchallenged goals, triggering a feverish competition in the 44th Cup of HH the Amir.

Kazma scored all three goals during the second half of the game, held at Al-Arabi's Sabah Al-Salem Stadium. Tadhamon's nets were first wobbled in the eighth minute of the second half by Kazma's Mohammed Al-Abbad. In the 24th and the 26th minutes, Kazma's offensive star Fahad Al-Fahad scored the second and third goals.

The first half of the game witnessed poor performances from both teams as their efforts were chiefly spoiled at midfield without any threats to goalkeepers.

However, Kazma boosted their team performance during the second half to control the field and overtake Tadhamon, whose players did not put a battle.

With this victory, Kazma will continue its march to face Qadsiya in the second round, which will include another six teams.

As accorded by the Amir Cup regulations, Qadsiya did not have to go through the first round of the competition because it was titled as a champion of the Kuwaiti soccer league last season.
