KUWAIT, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- The Islamic Presentation Committee (IPC) held here late Saturday the Euro-Kuwait Islamic forum, which witnessed the participation of 40 Europeans who recent converted to Islam with the event lasting till March 12.
IPC representative Jamal Al-Nouri told the press that the meeting saw the participation of several Muslim preachers from Kuwait and abroad, hoping that the forum would help those recently converted to solidify their belief and act as ambassadors of Islam in their own respective countries.
On her part, forum coordinator Amal Abdulwahed said that the IPC, since its inception in the 1970s, made its mission to spread the message of Islam by holding such events.
The IPC is not forcing the preaching of Islam, on the contrary, the committee is trying to showcases Islam's beautiful nature and those willing to convert are welcomed to the religion with no force involved.
Representative of the European delegation Dr. Hani Al-Dib lauded the IPC's companionate efforts worldwide, saying that the committee had always been a beacon for Muslims everywhere.
