Cairo –  Egypt’s Minister of Internal Trade and Supply Ali El-Moselhy announced receiving offers from some 4 or 5 local and international consortia to establish 3 oil complexes with investments estimated at $321 million, state-run MENA news agency reported.

The official’s announcement was made on the margin of the inauguration of Tamayouz Center - Cairo Chamber of Commerce.

The minister noted that the government is studying these offers at the present time and aims to partner with the private sector.

Earlier, the Egyptian supply ministry offered investment opportunities in oil production. The opportunities offered are represented in Borg El Arab in Alexandria on an area of ​​137,000 square meters and a total capacity of 990,000 tonnes a year.

The other two opportunities are offered in Sadat City and Sohag governorates on areas of 210,000 square metres and 120,000 square metres, respectively, each with a capacity of 240,000 tonnes a year.
