Abu Dhabi: The Dubai Filipino Bowling Club (DFBC) captured the overall championship trophy of the fourth Ambassador's Cup Bowling Tournament.
The event was organised by the Abu Dhabi Filipino Bowling Club (ADFBC) in collaboration with the Philippine Embassy.
It was part of the celebrations for the 110th Philippine Independence Day.
In the team event, DFBC ran away with the championship for both men's and women's divisions.
Among the scores
Among the scorers for the men's team were Jordan Evans with 1,204 pins and Ricky Reyes who took 1,122 for the men.
For the women Uela Marcial scored 1,043 pins and Elsie Marcial took 1,035.
After a good performance, ADFBC took the second and first runners-up places, respectively.
The forthcoming eleventh GCC All-Filipino Bowling Tournament will be held in Abu Dhabi from August 4 to 8.
Six GCC countries have already confirmed their participation, including the UAE.
