Amman - A delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan on Monday visited the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology during which they were briefed by Minister Bassem Rousan and specialists from the ministry on the ICT sector in the Kingdom as well as its accomplishments.
At the meeting, which was attended by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Jordan Elman Arasli as well as representatives of the private sector, the delegation was also briefed on programs, projects as well as initiatives being implemented by the ministry.
The minister highlighted the importance of such meetings in strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The ambassador stressed the strong ties between Jordan and Azerbaijan in the political and economic fields, pointing to the importance of such meetings to exchange expertise in the information and communications technology field.
Head of the Azeri delegation stressed the need to forge closer cooperation as well as creating investment opportunities in both countries in the ICT sector.
