DOHA - With the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) completing the third phase of Umm Al Khaba Intersection Project, all the roads leading to the Intersection will be thrown open to traffic from today, a press release said.

Ashghal, in cooperation with the traffic department, had opened a section of the Intersection during the month of September. The partial opening was mainly meant for the convenience of the school students. The opening had benefited the motorists plying between Duhail and Al Gharaffa. Later, Ashghal had also opened the bridge that connecting Duhail with Al Gharaffa Intersection.

The 3.5km-long project is one of the key components of Ashghal's five year project. The beautification and the infrastructure works will be completed soon, the release said.
