The Union National Bank (UNB) has tied up with the Abu Dhabi Co-operative Society (Adcoops), to launch a shopping card in partnership with Visa Inc.
The UNB-Adcoop's "Extra Card" is aimed at easing residents' shopping pressures with 50 per cent off on special-offer products. The objective behind the partnership is to create a best-in-class loyalty scheme in the market to enable the residents to get better value for money, said Bejoy Thomas, Adcoops Marketing and New Initiative Manager.
With the card, shoppers will be able to get back 3.5 per cent cash on all purchases and will also get 50 per cent discount on special-offer products and Costless Electronics and Infotech products. "Shoppers throughout Adcoops outlets will be saving Dh800 a year for a monthly expenditure of Dh2,000, or Dh24,000 a year," said Thomas.
