Event Sponsor Investbridge Capital is LongtimePartner of MIT Center for Real Estate

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Professor Albert Saiz, Director of the MIT Center for Real Estate, will deliver a keynote address during the PERE Growth Forum: Middle East & Africa on December 9-10, 2015, in Dubai.

Saiz, the Daniel Rose Associate Professor of Urban Economics and Real Estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will discuss the evolution of real estate capital markets in emerging gateway cities on the conference's second day.

The PERE Growth Forum focuses on real estate capital flows between the Middle East, Africa and the mature markets. During the conference, participants will gain insights from leading figures on the international appetite for growth markets as well as information on where Middle Eastern and African investors are putting their money globally.

"Dubai is a vibrant, resilient gateway city that has become a strong beacon for technology, innovation and investment in the Middle East," said Professor Saiz.  "I look forward to joining my colleagues in the real estate industry and sharing my research into how particular cities emerge and grow, as well as how macroeconomic factors influence the flow of capital to these gateways."

Investbridge Capital, a lead sponsor of the forum, is a longtime partner of the MIT Center for Real Estate.  The partnership includes an annual internship program at Investbridge Capital's headquarters in Dubai for graduate students enrolled in the MIT Center for Real Estate's Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) degree program.

"The internships give select students the opportunity to work out of our Dubai offices on activereal estate investment projects, so they gain a better understanding of the built environment in growth markets," said Robert Lovett, Managing Partner at Investbridge Capital.  "Our partnership with MIT CRE is symbiotic and this program is a key component.  We get a 'finger on the pulse' of new global developments from the students, while their three weeks with us exposes them to practical development solutions in a gateway city and often opens up pathways to the next stage of their careers in real estate."

Investbridge Capital CEO Mark DeSario and Executive Director of Real Estate Oliver Hogg will participate in panel sessions at the PERE Growth Forum, focusing on investor opportunities and Dubai's real estate market, respectively.
