As part of an ongoing deal between Arab News and YouGov, where YouGov provides research support to Arab News through opinion polling, Arab News found it of great interest to gauge views of residents from the UK to provide their views and level of understanding with the issues related to the Arab world.
The survey was conducted using an online interview administered among members of the YouGov Plc panel of close to 728,500+ individuals across the MENA region who have agreed to take part in surveys, out of which 21,838 active panel members reside in Saudi Arabia. An email was sent to panelists selected at random from the base sample, inviting them to take part in the survey and providing a link to the survey. All figures, unless otherwise stated, are from YouGov Plc.
Total sample size was 503 Saudi nationals. Fieldwork was undertaken between 1st and 4th of October 2017. The sample was representative of Saudi population in terms of gender, age and city of residence. The overall margin of error is 4.38 percent.
